JA Job Shadow Experience at Coke Canada
The Pouring Potential! JA Job Shadow Experience at Coke Canada introduces students to the workplace and potential career opportunities in manufacturing and distribution. Youth will learn about the seven steps to getting hired, and through hands-on learning, they will develop employability skills that will make them valuable assets to any employer.
This learning experience includes a one-day field trip, and teacher facilitated pre and post-event classroom activities (resources provided by JA).

Advancing the Employability of Canadian Youth Together
During this program, students will:
Investigate careers and jobs in manufacturing and distribution companies.
Identify essential technical and transferable skills needed to succeed in today’s dynamic workplaces.
Develop technical and transferable skills to support career and job success.
Use career clusters to identify career pathways and research, plan and prepare for potential jobs.
By the end of the program, students will have a personal finance plan and clear goals for their financial security.

COMMITMENT
We request at least 1 hour or 1 class period of time in class
Registration is required at least 6 weeks before your preferred date (some exceptions may apply)
JA volunteers are guest speakers, classroom supervision is required
