Our signature fundraising event supports Junior Achievement programs for students and classrooms across Southern Alberta.
Supported by Korn Ferry, our Nomination Partner, the JA Southern Alberta Business Hall of Fame celebrates entrepreneurial leadership while raising critical funds to support Junior Achievement programs that equip young people with the skills and confidence to succeed in work and life.
Nominations are submitted by members of the community to Junior Achievement Southern Alberta and Korn Ferry, and are then presented to an independent Selection Committee for consideration. The committee is comprised of members, past inductees of the Business Hall of Fame.

Avi Amir
Founder and Chairman of Homes by Avi, Avi Amir has spent more than four decades shaping communities. A visionary entrepreneur and respected industry leader, he is recognized for his commitment to innovation, quality craftsmanship, and building lasting impact both in business and in the communities he serves.
Martha Billes
A trailblazing business leader and philanthropist, Martha Billes transformed the future of Canadian Tire while championing access to sport for young people across Canada. Her leadership, determination, and commitment to community have left a lasting mark on Canadian business, philanthropy, and youth development.
Jim Davidson
As co-founder of FirstEnergy Capital Corp., Jim Davidson helped build one of Canada's most influential energy investment firms. Known for his business leadership, community involvement, and philanthropic spirit, Jim's impact extends far beyond the energy sector, shaping organizations and communities across Alberta.
Stan Owerko
Entrepreneur, business builder, and philanthropist, Stan Owerko founded Petrogas Energy Corp. and grew it into a leading North American energy company. Together with his wife Marge, he has dedicated decades to supporting healthcare, education, and housing initiatives, embodying his belief, "people helping people."
