GET INVOLVED AS AN ORGANIZATION

THE POWER OF SHOWING UP!

Imagine the potential each of us has when someone takes the time to invest in our future!

Volunteers play a vital role in JA Southern Alberta programs by mentoring students, sharing real-world experience, and supporting classroom and experiential learning opportunities. Whether you participate as part of a corporate or community group, or individually, volunteers often come together to deliver programming, creating meaningful team-building experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Opportunities are available both in person and online, with flexible options to fit different schedules and comfort levels. No previous teaching experience is required.

IMPACT DAYS

LOOKING FOR A MEANINGFUL WAY TO GIVE BACK?

Impact Days are a powerful way for organizations to volunteer together while making a direct impact in the classroom.

Teams step into local schools and help deliver Junior Achievement programming to students across Southern Alberta.

Through an Impact Day, employees engage directly with students, sharing real-world perspectives and helping bring learning to life in areas such as financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Whether you are looking for a one-day team experience or a deeper ongoing partnership, Impact Days can be tailored to meet your organization’s goals.

CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

WHAT IMPACT DAYS LOOK LIKE

Common goal: educate students and inspire them to achieve their highest potential.

During an Impact Day, your team will volunteer in the classroom alongside educators to help deliver JA programs. No prior teaching experience is required; all materials and training are provided.

This hands-on experience allows students to learn from professionals while giving your team a meaningful opportunity to connect, contribute, and inspire.
