Investment Strategies

Teaching Students the Value of Wise, Educated Investments

The Investment Strategies Program (ISP) is a series of lessons that use an engaging stock market simulation where students build essential knowledge about the principles of investing and gain real-world experience applying their skills. Students research stocks, build a portfolio, learn about investment terms, ethics and more.

Save and Invest for the Future

During this interactive, in-class program, students will:

  • Explore key investment concepts and fundamentals: understand the pros and cons of different investments, such as RRSPs, exchange-traded funds and GICs

  • Analyze scenarios and case studies to apply investing concepts; learning socially and ethically responsible investment strategies

  • Create a personal investment plan

  • Play an immersive Stock Market Simulation
